Find a country or size system

Choose a country to jump to its size chart. Use the chart for the brand you plan to buy; unavailable systems cannot be converted here.

The BOSS table covers all seven systems. Its Korea numbers are brand regional labels; they are not automatically interchangeable with Korean 44/55/66 labels.

Why one women’s size can have several country labels

Use the brand table that matches your purchase. The BOSS regional reference pairs US 6 with UK 10, Europe 38, Russia 44, Japan 13, Korea 38 and M. These are BOSS labels, not a rule that every Japanese 13 or Korean 38 garment has the same fit. Keep the original ASOS reference separate when switching brands.

For tops and jackets, compare bust, shoulder position and sleeve length; for bottoms, compare waist and hips. A label conversion can narrow the options but cannot predict a fitted waist, oversized shoulder or cropped hem. Use the linked dress measurement guide when you need a body-measurement starting point, then return to the product’s own specifications.

Three checks before ordering

  1. Match the product brand, country system and garment type to the selected table.
  2. Keep body and garment measurements separate, with consistent centimetre or inch units.
  3. Check the specific style’s length, width and stretch, then read the store’s sizing and exchange information.

START WITH MEASUREMENTS

How to measure

Chest / bustNatural waistFullest hipsHeight
Measure circumferences all the way around the body, not across the front. Measure height barefoot. Diagram not to scale.
  1. 01

Measure chest or bust around the fullest point. Keep the tape horizontal without compressing the body.

  2. 02

Measure the natural waist, then the widest part of the hips. Record body measurements separately from garment measurements.

  3. 03

Compare all measurements with the product guide. Check fabric stretch, garment length and the intended fit before choosing.

A few things labels don’t tell you.

“European size” is not one label across every country. This reference lists EU and Italian sizes separately. Letter sizes such as S or M vary too much to guarantee a single conversion.

Common questions

What is US women’s size 8 in the UK?

In this ASOS reference, US 8 corresponds to UK 12, EU 40 and IT 44.

Are EU and Italian sizes the same?

Not in this reference. For example, EU 38 corresponds to IT 42. Check which country label the seller uses.

Does this include bra or maternity sizing?

No. Bras, maternity and specialist fits require their own product measurements.

Can I convert women’s clothing to Russia, Japan, Korea or S-M-L?

The BOSS table covers all seven systems. Its Korea numbers are brand regional labels; they are not automatically interchangeable with Korean 44/55/66 labels.
