Buying a jacket, trousers and shirt across regions
Start with the garment, not the number. In the HUGO regular jacket table, a US 40R points to Europe 50, Russia 50, Japan 50, Korea 105 and L. The R is part of the label: changing to a long or stocky cut changes the reference. If you select XXXL, more than one row can appear because the brand publishes that letter twice.
A matching jacket label does not select your trousers or shirt. Check waist, rise and inseam for trousers, then collar and sleeve length for shirts. When comparing a product listing, keep its size system and brand beside the measurement; a bare ‘50’ is not enough to identify what is being measured.

START WITH MEASUREMENTS
How to measure

Measure chest or bust around the fullest point. Keep the tape horizontal without compressing the body.

Measure the natural waist, then the widest part of the hips. Record body measurements separately from garment measurements.

Compare all measurements with the product guide. Check fabric stretch, garment length and the intended fit before choosing.
A few things labels don’t tell you.
A jacket size is not a trouser waist size. For shirts, measure the neck where the collar sits and check sleeve length separately. The R suffix in these tables means regular length; short and long versions use different labels.
Common questions
What is a US 40R jacket in EU sizing?
This HUGO BOSS regular-length reference pairs US/UK 40R with EU 50. The trouser table uses a different scale.
Can I convert jacket and trouser sizes together?
No. Use the separate garment tables; matching row positions do not imply matching body proportions.
Does a collar size determine sleeve length?
No. Check the shirt’s sleeve and body-length specifications independently.
Can I convert men’s clothing to Russia, Japan, Korea or S-M-L?
